Images are slightly grainy, but this did not concern me. Camera performance is very good, though not quite as good as the DSC-W7 which I just reviewed.[8] ImageWare’s identification products are used to manage and issue secure credentials including national IDs, passports, driver’s licenses, smart cards and access control credentials. [11] Image Stabilization won't counteract sharp jerks or hard shifts and it can't defeat the blur inherent in rapid panning or trying to lock on to moving subjects, but it does beat most of the simple shakes and tremblies associated with shooting action.
